I'm Amy. A 31 year old mother of three, currently residing in California, soon to be residing in Ohio, and heart always residing in New Jersey, where I was born and raised.
I used to be this girl:
At 21, I was quite lovely, but didn't know much about the world. I hated my body for as long as I could remember and never thought of myself as "beautiful". Perpetually dieting and doubting myself, I didn't feel good in my own skin.
Then this happened. Three times.
And then, I turned 30.
Now, I'm this girl.
Maybe I'm not glamorous... or maybe I am. I don't exactly know yet.
What I do know is that I'm funny and smart. And I over analyze things. Which is kinda why we're here, because then I write down the things I glean from being
I feel sexier and more confident than ever, thanks to my Curvies ...
I have a good husband, who loves me to bits (even if one of his schticks gets us murdered)...
(Maybe you've heard of him, he writes satirical articles for The Outhouse )
...And I draw cartoon strips...
(I will get back to The Terrible Threes soon, I promise. When life stops kicking my ass so hard.)
I'm doing all this stuff while I raise three wonderfully challenging kids with all the quirks that they have likely inherited from my side of the family and will be sending me the therapy bill for.
I also want to write a book. Preferably bookS. I also plan to learn to play guitar someday (I have three that I swear I will play, when I get the time/energy/brain cells), go back to school for my PhD in Psychology and be a professor/researcher/Psychologist/Internationally renowned smart person, and get back into creating and showing art work. Oh, and thank Thom Yorke in person for being amazing so I can die and go to fan girl heaven.
And tomorrow, I'll probably want to do 20 more things.
Thanks for coming along for the ride!
